Short Story
The president of a new association (sender) wants a logo (message) designed that will encompass the main theme of the group. After receiving some information, several logo concepts are developed (encoding) and given to the president. After receiving feedback, the logo will be finalized and put on the website, newsletters, and other correspondents (channel). The members of the association (receivers) will interpret (decoding) ideas about the group from the logo, although there still may be confusion based on other factors (noise).
